Who is Sam?
I am a small business aficionado that has worked with an array of industries (professional services, events, retail, customer service, marketing agencies, media, real estate, manufacturing, etc.) giving me unique insights in how to make any business run smoothly. I specialize in streamlining workflows, eliminating redundancies, and using data-driven strategy to cut costs and increase revenue. I help business owners get back to doing the things they love (and are good at) + make more money.
We’ll define your specific needs and goals, then I’ll assesses your business and provide tailored solutions. We work closely together to implement these strategies, and offering ongoing support and guidance. Often times, I take on the role of an admin or operations manager to dive in deeply and see first hand where things can be improved.
How does consulting work?
It’s extremely common for someone to come to me with a specific job in mind but once I begin, I find out it’s entirely different. Most small business owners don’t know what they don’t know, which is why it’s good to hire someone who does. I’m here to help outline what exactly you need, and that may change as time goes on and I learn a bit more about your business. Of course, all of my suggestions are just that—suggestions—and you’re free to do with them what you’d like!

Right in sunny Southern California, in the South Bay cities of Los Angeles. But I have clients all over the world!
I'm on a really tight budget and can't afford another employee,
but I need help. What do I do?
Hiring Sam is a great way to save money on labor but still get incredible, consistent results. There is no "down time" or "busy work", and you aren’t paying me a salary. You are only paying for the time spent on your project, down to the minute. I often also recommend outsourcing certain tasks to international contractors to ensure you’re saving as much money as possible. Let's talk and see what solutions we can come up with!
Is there a long-term contract?
No way, Jose! Since you're only billed for the time spent on your task(s), we can do as much or as little work together as you’d like. There is no contract, minimums or maximums to abide by.
How much time will it take to finish my project?
I am always fast and thorough, but please share any applicable deadlines upfront.
Well it depends. How weird are we talking? Weird, like helping coordinate an entire office relocation overnight to not disrupt business? I’m in. Weird, like help find the best store in your area to buy fish? I’ll probably pass.
What if I need help with something weird?
What software do you use to complete tasks?
Right Hand Sam can install and login to any software you use, but completes most tasks within the current Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite and/or Adobe Creative Suite. I love using Basecamp for project management and task tracking, and we can chat via email, Slack, or whatever other tool works best for you.
In only the best ways! While services are considered that of an independent contractor (1099) for tax purposes, I want you to always have someone you can trust to help, that also knows the ins and outs of you and your business. Feel free to share company accounts, set up branded signatures and/or phone extensions so it looks and feels like I'm part of your team.
